Roasted to order

First Monday of the month. We don't pre-roast and we don't sit on inventory.

Free shipping, always

USPS Priority every Wednesday, free on every order — subscription, one-time, or sample. On your doorstep within 4 days of roasting.

Direct sourcing

Specialty importers we trust, cupped lot-by-lot at the roastery before we buy. Cupping scores 86+ across the catalog.

Skip, swap, pause

Every subscription is flexible. No fees, no friction, no shame in pausing.

The freshness gap

Why does it matter?

Coffee is at its peak aromatic potential 4 to 14 days post-roast. After about 30 days, the volatile aromatic oils that make specialty coffee taste like specialty coffee start disappearing. The bag at the grocery store has typically been sitting on a shelf for weeks before you ever see it. By the time you brew it, it's a faint echo of what it could have been. We don't do that.

Math, not marketing

$45/mo = $0.75 a cup.

Our 60-cup subscription works out to 75¢ per cup of specialty coffee, roasted four days ago and shipped free. A medium pour-over at the cafe down the street is $5.50. Or start at the 20-cup tier for $20/mo — same coffee, same free shipping.

We know where it comes from.

Every bag carries the producer's name and a postcard from the region it was grown. We've been buying lots from some of these cooperatives for three seasons running.

Word of mouth

People tell their friends.

I genuinely don't drink anything else now. The Yirgacheffe is unreal.

The sample pack convinced me. Then the Cathedral espresso ruined every cafe for me.
