These terms cover what you can expect from Rice Cracker Club LLC (“Rice Cracker Club”, “we”, “us”) and what we ask of you when you order coffee or use this website. We've tried to keep them readable. If anything here isn't clear, write to [email protected].

1. Who we are

Rice Cracker Club LLC is a California specialty-coffee roaster operating at ricecrackerclub.com. By creating an account, placing an order, or using this site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and a U.S. resident with a U.S. shipping address. The site is not directed to anyone under 16.

3. Your account

We sign you in with magic links — there's no password to lose. Keep access to your email account secure; anything done through your signed-in session is treated as authorized by you. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account at any time from the Privacy Center.

4. Orders and pricing

  • Prices and availability shown at checkout are what you'll be charged. Coffee is roasted to order; once roasted and shipped, an order can't be canceled.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if there's a pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock-out — we'll refund any charge in full.
  • Sales tax is added where required by law and shipping is calculated at checkout.

5. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

By subscribing you agree to recurring charges from Rice Cracker Club on a monthly, biweekly, or weekly cadence (depending on the plan you select), at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Charges are processed by Stripe and post to the payment method you chose. We will email you before each renewal so the charge is never a surprise.

You can pause, skip, swap, or cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Subscription — there's a single button for each. To avoid the next renewal, cancel before the cutoff shown on your account page (typically 3 days before the scheduled ship date). If you have a billing problem we can't resolve in-app, email [email protected].

This section is provided in compliance with the California Auto-Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17602). California residents may also cancel by emailing the address above with the word “cancel” and the email on the account.

6. Shipping, delays, and damaged bags

We roast on the first Monday of each month and ship within 48 hours. Carriers occasionally lose or damage packages — if your bag arrives broken, stale, or never arrives, email us within 30 days and we'll re-ship or refund. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier confirms delivery.

7. Refunds and replacements

Coffee is a perishable, roasted-to-order product. We don't accept returns, but we'll replace or refund any order that arrives damaged, defective, or far below the quality you'd expect. Reach out within 30 days of delivery.

8. Coffee Cash and referrals

Coffee Cash and referral credits are promotional, have no cash value, aren't transferable, and expire if unused after 12 months of account inactivity. We may adjust balances if we discover fraud or mistakes — we'll tell you when we do.

9. Gift subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are paid in full at checkout and don't auto-renew. Recipients can manage their gift queue by signing in with the email used at gift redemption.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misrepresent who you are, or use someone else's payment method;
  • buy in bulk for resale without our written agreement (B2B inquiries: wholesale);
  • scrape, attack, or attempt to disrupt the site;
  • upload or submit content that's illegal, infringing, or harmful.

11. Intellectual property

The site, brand, photography, and content belong to Rice Cracker Club unless attributed otherwise. You can't copy or reuse our brand assets without permission.

12. Disclaimers

Coffee is sold “as is”. We make no warranties beyond what applicable consumer-protection laws require. Some states don't allow disclaimers of implied warranties — those laws apply to you regardless of this paragraph.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rice Cracker Club's total liability for any claim related to the site, an order, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you and we both agree to that venue.

15. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change we'll update the "last updated" date and notify signed-in customers by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
